Partners in Education

What is Partners in Education at Hammond Hill Elementary?

The school/business partnership at Hammond Hill Elementary is a voluntary relationship between a community or civic organization that partners with Hammond Hill Elementary for this school year. It is based on a plan of written activities designed to match educational needs with available businesses that will help the school improve the quality of education.

The goals of the program are:

ááá * To enrich and expand the existing instructional program to provide increased student achievement
ááá * To recognize and reward students and staff achievements and accomplishments
ááá * To increase student awareness of the business world and career opportunities
ááá * To provide the necessary funding to maintain new and existing programs
ááá * To provide awareness of community service and involvement

á
What are the benefits of becoming a Partner in Education?

á

There are numerous benefits to becoming a partner and helping Hammond Hill Elementary. A business may give through monetary donations or through their time and talent. Business partners will gain a better understanding of our school and how it works. Your company will gain public awareness as a business that cares about the education of students in the community. This partnership will also help your employees understand the needs of our school and will serve as a moral booster for those who have taken the time to visit and assist our young students through providing equipment, becoming a guest speaker or by just volunteering their time to read to a student.

á
Who can become a Partner in Education?

á

You can! It does not matter how large or small your business. Each partnership is unique. A Partner in Education can be a private individual, business or a civic club. Once you become a Partner in Education at Hammond Hill Elementary your name, if so desired, will be placed on our website and your contribution will be announced in our Wednesday Newsletter that goes home with over 700 students.
